Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the cold storage facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Ensure the warehouse remains organized, clean, and safe in sub-freezing temperatures.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track shipments and storage locations.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in quality control checks to ensure product integrity is maintained.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work in environments with temperatures below 35°F (2°C).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification if not already certified.
