Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse
- Load/unload trucks and containers using proper pallet jack techniques
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs to supervisors
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
- Participate in quarterly safety training and equipment certification updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and measurements
- Physical stamina to stand 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to obtain OSHA forklift certification (company-provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
