Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse facility.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and report any mechanical problems to the supervisor immediately.
- Stack and organize pallets according to safety regulations and warehouse layout.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure maximum safety and efficiency.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding hazardous materials.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and log equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills to follow safety manuals and instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
