Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and organized properly.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and accurate record-keeping.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator license (Class A or B) or willingness to obtain one upon hiring.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
