Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, load, and unload products.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, label, and stock inventory while adhering to company protocols and maintaining accurate records.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Load and Unload Freight: Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing orders, ensuring proper handling of fragile and heavy items.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies or damaged goods immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid state-issued driver's license is preferred.
- Entry-Level Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
- Forklift Certification: Certification is required (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions, read pick lists, and maintain accuracy in inventory counts.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
