Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Stack and organize inventory in designated storage areas efficiently and safely.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies immediately.
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic patterns, and warehouse procedures at all times.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counting as required.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners and inventory software.
