Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Verify inventory accuracy by counting stock and tagging items for placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols at all times.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
- Handle freight with care, ensuring damage-free loading and unloading processes.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong understanding of Safety Regulations (OSHA compliance) and warehouse procedures.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and pallet calculations.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including overtime.
