Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure all safety mechanisms are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and organizing stock according to established safety and efficiency protocols.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets and deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding workplace conduct and equipment handling.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one through our paid training program (valid driver's license required).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning accuracy.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
