Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that aisles and work areas are free of hazards at all times.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure machinery is in proper working order and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Handle inventory management by accurately recording stock movements, counting, and verifying shipments against warehouse logs.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification (OSHA compliant) or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to read and comprehend written instructions and safety labels.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and adherence to company policies.
