Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move goods throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of orders with a high degree of accuracy.
- Load and Unload Vessels: Work directly with dock personnel to load and unload shipping containers and trucks, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards before shipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, reporting hazards immediately.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions to ensure a safe environment for all staff.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required for warehouse driving duties.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory counting and ticketing.
