Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks in an organized and timely manner, ensuring cargo security.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts as requested by management.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE and following traffic patterns.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Basic reading and English comprehension skills for safety documentation.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- A valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Willingness to obtain a forklift certification through our on-site training program.
