Responsibilities
- Safely Operate: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by accurately counting stock, checking shipments, and organizing storage areas.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before storage or shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding equipment operation and workplace safety.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of stock movements and operational logs as required.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Willingness to Learn: Must be eager to undergo forklift certification training (we provide the training).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic math for inventory counting and checkweighing.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to identify errors in inventory or product handling.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (not required for the role, but preferred).
