Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, railcars, and shipping containers according to safety protocols.
- Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain up-to-date stock records.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations.
- Inspect forklift equipment for maintenance needs and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Current forklift operator certification (valid license required).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a logistics or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
- Basic math and reading skills for inventory management and documentation.
