Job Summary:
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. You will ensure inventory accuracy and maintain a clean, organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move products safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure proper working order.
- Scan and track inventory using handheld scanners to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
