Responsibilities
- Safe Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in scanning and logging inventory, ensuring accurate stock counts and organized storage locations.
- Load Preparation: Prepare pallets and loads according to safety guidelines and customer specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and conducting pre-shift equipment inspections.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris from the floor.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely processing of orders.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends as required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required for entry-level positions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and pay attention to safety details.
