Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards (5S standards).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic reading and math skills for inventory management.
- Physically fit to perform repetitive lifting and standing for long periods.
- Must be willing to obtain a forklift operator certification (training available).
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
