Job Summary
You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. Your role is critical to our daily operations, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a zero-accident culture.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and organized for distribution.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections of all equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in cycle counting processes.
- Keep the warehouse aisles clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving quotas.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (we offer training for qualified candidates).
- Strong ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent attendance record and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
