Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse safely.
- Load and unload freight from trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records in the system.
- Ensure the warehouse environment is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company operational procedures.
- Prepare shipping orders and verify accuracy of packages before they leave the facility.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (must be present for interview).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
