Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the accurate counting and stocking of inventory, ensuring all stock levels are maintained according to company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring packages are properly labeled and secured for transit.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area to prevent accidents and ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- License Requirement: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (or be willing to obtain one through our training program). Class A or B CDL is a plus but not always required for entry-level warehouse roles.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting inventory and picking orders.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
