Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select items from the warehouse shelves and prepare them for shipment using packing machines and manual techniques.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock counts and update inventory systems as required.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) and hand trucks safely when authorized.
- Order Fulfillment: Work efficiently to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and order integrity.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand instructions and communicate with team members.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.
