The Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe movement of materials within our warehouse and loading docks. You will play a critical role in our supply chain, ensuring inventory accuracy and safety standards are met at all times.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks, verifying inventory against shipping logs.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and report maintenance needs.
- Stack and organize pallets according to safety guidelines and warehouse layout.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift or warehouse equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
