Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely move products onto and off delivery trucks using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Packing and Shipping: Accurately pack, label, and prepare items for shipment using appropriate packaging materials.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse system.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery (including forklifts) safely after completing required certification.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read product labels and barcodes.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality.
