Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in a safe, efficient, and productive manner at all times.
- Loading & Unloading: Load, unload, and stage materials accurately, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure strapping.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counting, inventory accuracy checks, and maintaining organized warehouse stock.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- San Jose Residency: Must currently reside in or around San Jose, CA.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
