Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for defects and ensure they are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Verify inventory counts and update warehouse management systems (WMS) accurately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts (reach trucks, pallet jacks, etc.) preferred.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
