Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklifts and warehouse equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements in the WMS system.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing shipments for local and national delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (required).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
