Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inspection: Process incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and inspect goods for damage.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select items for orders and prepare them for shipment using proper packaging materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and participating in regular stock counts.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (training provided).
- Order Fulfillment: Load and unload trucks efficiently to meet daily delivery targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and keep the work area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills for counting and inventory verification.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
