Responsibilities
- Retrieve merchandise from warehouse shelves and storage areas using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Pack items securely using appropriate packaging materials and methods to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information and prepare them for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Inspect products for defects or damage and report discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and high-volume workloads.
