Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely operate pallet jacks and hand trucks to move products to and from delivery trucks and storage areas.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select items from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipment using packing materials.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and performing routine inventory counts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic cleaning and safety checks on warehouse equipment and workstations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals efficiently.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to operate warehouse machinery.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods in a warehouse setting.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have a reliable method of transportation to work.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; no experience is necessary as training is provided.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
