Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently select and prepare merchandise for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and stock organization.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training provided).
- Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper documentation and safety standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and cross-functional departments to meet daily goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (not required for immediate consideration).
- Experience: No prior warehouse experience required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and ability to read labels and pick lists.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
