Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts to move palletized materials in a high-volume warehouse setting
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through systematic scanning and documentation
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and equipment maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Support inventory control initiatives through cycle count participation
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with 2+ years of recent experience
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient in RF scanning technology and warehouse management systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including potential overtime
