Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train and mentor 5-7 warehouse staff on safety protocols and procedures
- Implement inventory control measures to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless order fulfillment
- Conduct regular safety audits and compliance checks
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow processes
- Generate performance reports and KPI tracking
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- High school diploma; associate degree preferred
