Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport goods within the cold storage facility using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Monitor and record temperatures of storage units to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Organize inventory in freezers and coolers to optimize space and retrieval efficiency.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of storage areas to prevent frost buildup and ensure hygiene.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of products for distribution.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines while working in extreme cold environments.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (below freezing) for extended periods.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and reporting.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
