Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify and maintain accurate inventory records and logs to ensure stock levels are correct.
- Sort, pack, and label packages for shipment or storage according to established procedures.
- Operate warehouse machinery (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) in a safe and compliant manner.
- Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and adheres to safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for delivery and manage returns processing.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory discrepancies and operational needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is a plus but not required (training provided).
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions (e.g., loading docks, outdoor storage areas) as necessary.
- Valid driver's license may be required for specific driving duties.
