Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload merchandise from trucks, pallets, and containers.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy.
- Packaging: Properly package, label, and secure items for shipping to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., forklifts) and hand trucks as required.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse floor to facilitate efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and reliability.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- License: Valid driver's license is required.
- Availability: Must be available for flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
