Your Role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to ensure our inventory moves smoothly and safely. You will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that products are delivered on time and stored correctly.
Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and performing regular stock counts.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Load Preparation: Prepare pallets and skids for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and clutter-free to optimize workflow and reduce accidents.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Experience: Proven experience in warehouse operations and material handling.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and operate heavy machinery.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
