Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organize storage areas to ensure optimal warehouse flow.
- Maintenance Checks: Conduct routine pre-shift inspections of machinery to ensure all safety features are functioning correctly.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Documentation: Keep detailed logs of movements and inventory changes using our digital warehouse management system.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current forklift operator certification (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, or High Reach).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
