Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor systems.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by scanning barcodes and conducting physical counts.
- Packaging: Package and prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation are completed.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA standards.
- Organization: Assist with inventory control and cycle counting procedures to ensure stock levels are accurate.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math and computer literacy (for scanning equipment).
- Background: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is required.
