Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and update warehouse management systems accordingly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding hazardous materials and equipment operation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a forklift is preferred (CDL not required).
- Must possess a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one upon hire.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and scanning barcodes.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
