Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, locate, and stack materials safely within the warehouse.
- Load and unload freight trucks, ensuring proper documentation and weight distribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
- Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory tracking.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
