Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and organizing stock according to established procedures.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections on forklift equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including packaging and order picking, as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
- Ability to stand and operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and accuracy.
- Strong attention to safety protocols and adherence to company policies.
