Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely drive and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Accurately check, stock, and document incoming and outgoing merchandise to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Load/Unload Operations: Efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring packages are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
