Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse and dock areas.
- Verify inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and documenting stock movements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Inspect forklifts daily for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure efficient flow of operations during peak hours.
- Ensure all shipping and receiving documents are accurately completed and filed.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory data.
