Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in accordance with all OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse floor to prevent accidents and ensure workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding attendance, conduct, and safety.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (reach truck, counterbalance, or sit-down) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and basic computer literacy.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
