Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move pallets and materials efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage inventory scanning and warehouse organization systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for timely material flow
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation and movement logs
- Train new operators on equipment safety and operational best practices
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid California driver's license preferred
