Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently in a high-volume warehouse environment.
- Load, unload, and stage materials onto trailers and trucks, ensuring accurate inventory counts and documentation.
- Stack and organize pallets according to safety guidelines and warehouse layout requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris to ensure safety compliance (OSHA standards).
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately to management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in regular safety training sessions.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator License (Must be provided at time of interview).
- 1+ years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and shipping documentation.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
