Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload freight trucks accurately and efficiently.
- Perform daily safety inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Accurately scan and record inventory using handheld scanners.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA compliant) required; willing to train candidates with certifications.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher preferred).
- Basic math skills and ability to read safety labels and traffic signs.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.
