Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Verify inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline warehouse operations and meet daily production goals.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA/ANSI approved).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
