Responsibilities
- Operate electric and gas forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine safety inspections on all heavy machinery and equipment before each shift.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels in designated storage areas.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company warehouse protocols at all times.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the warehouse floor to ensure optimal workflow.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies immediately to management.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and data entry.
- Basic computer skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
