Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and weight distribution.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all 5S safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management by verifying stock levels and conducting cycle counts.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CP, RF, or CE preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy warehouse machinery in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license (Class B preferred but not always required).
