Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to safely load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning and counting stock using handheld scanners.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in strict accordance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize storage layouts and streamline workflow processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and perform regular safety drills.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment and loading onto trucks.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Class A, B, or C) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for accurate inventory counts.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, based on business needs.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
